Lesson 8 - JavaScript

Summary

JavaScript is a basic scripting language, or a simple form of programming language, specifically designed for use on web sites. You have already made use of JavaScript "events" when performing rollovers; this chapter looks further into their possibilities and then discusses the creation of fully-blown scripts to make your pages more interactive. Like all the lessons in this advanced section JavaScript is an optional extra on your sites, but it can be a useful one.
